Strassen is a small, dynamic municipality in the inner suburbs of Luxembourg City. It could be considered an extension of Luxembourg City via the Route d'Arlon, a major economic hub.

The municipality of Strassen consists of a single locality, the town of Strassen. Highly urban, it is an extension of Luxembourg City via its main artery, the Route d'Arlon, which leads to the town of Bertrange.
