For more than 35 years, CEPA (Centre pour la Promotion des Arts) has been a major player in the field of artistic training and promotion of the arts in Luxembourg . The artistic courses and workshops explore all artistic fields, whatever the age of the participant. Other events are also offered such as Art Tuesdays or the “Summer Akademie” with workshops in drawing, sculpture, perfume creation or circus.

A hobby fair is traditionally held in January. You will find more than 100 exhibitors from 7 different countries, as well as creative workshops. Ideal to give you many ideas for your creative hobbies.

Konscht Am Gronn, open air art gallery in Luxembourg
Every first Sunday of the month, from May 1st to the beginning of October, “Konscht Am Gronn” exhibits works of art of about 30 artists in the Grund, on the bridge of the Munster Street.
The “Konscht am Gronn” open-air art gallery is a cultural highlight in the capital and offers art lovers the opportunity to discover the latest works by artists. Different artistic fields are represented. Painting, drawing, photography, digital art or working with materials such as glass, ceramics, wood, stone or metal. Musical entertainment makes this event even more festive.
You can find many ideas at the Creative Arts Fair at LuxExpo in January. Every year for 3 days, the 70 international booths of the Expo Creativ show numerous products for creative leisure. You will find wool, beads, paper, fabrics, … to make embroidery, scrapbooking or jewelry. Workshops are also an opportunity to meet new people and learn new craft techniques.
You like knitting or want to learn? The association Mamie et moi(mamieetmoi.com) creates links between generations since 2012. Knitting cafés are organized regularly in the city’s museums. Mamie et moi also offers you to come and knit in the shade in the gardens of the Villa Vauban. ,
