International swimming competition

The biggest international swimming competition in Luxembourg: the Euromeet. 

Euromeet takes place every year at the end of January at the Coque Olympic swimming pool in Luxembourg.

For the occasion, over 630 international swimmers from 90 clubs and 25 countries measure their performance in preparation for the year's international events.

They are supervised by over a hundred coaches, 140 volunteers and 65 officials.

Swimming Luxembourg competitions

Every year, the Swimming Luxembourg association presents some thirty Luxembourg swimmers at Euromeet.

It also organizes other events in accordance with International Swimming Federation regulations, including the following:

• the Lux Open Master, whose 30th edition took place in 2023
• the Swim Trophy
• the Poseidon Challenge, open to young swimmers from Poseidon schools. These challenges take place 3 times a year at the Belair swimming pool.
• the Synchro Cup for synchronized swimmers.

Training for these competitions takes place every weekday at the Cents or Geesseknäppchen swimming pools.

Swimming Luxembourg also organizes baby swimming activities. A swimming school is available for those wishing to learn to swim or improve their skills.

Competitions of the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Natation et de Sauvetage

The FLNS brings together several pool sports, including swimming, artistic swimming, open water, water polo and diving. Several clubs in Luxembourg are affiliated to the FLNS and organize competitions and other swimming events.
