We are recruiting a Senior Asset Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy CEO Director of Sales, Property and Legal Affairs, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Develop and maintain legal and tax expertise on financial planning issues for UHNW clients, particularly on the French market, but also on the Monegasque and Belgian markets;

- Participate in the AXA Wealth Europe acceptance committee in order to analyze and validate files from a legal and patrimonial point of view;

- Analyze the legal and tax viability of wealth structuring solutions proposed by intermediary bankers ... ;

- Analyze the effectiveness of proposed new solutions and make suggestions in complex, non-standard situations;

- Liaise with external lawyers and advisors in the various markets;

- Participate in the preparation of legal documentation with the legal department;

- Actively participate in Axa Wealth Europe's marketing events and visibility (e.g. roundtables, newsletters, dedicated events, social networks, ACA meetings, etc.).

Your profile 

  • You have a university degree in law with a specialization in civil law and/or estate tax law (life insurance). An additional qualification in international property and/or inheritance law is considered an advantage.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in a wealth management department of an insurance company, law firm or notary's office.
  • You are familiar with the tax treatment of French wealth structuring solutions.
  • A sound knowledge of French insurance regulations, private civil and international law, and the Luxembourg regulatory environment is required.
  • You are detail-oriented and particularly rigorous.
  • Your willingness to learn, your flexibility and your ability to work as part of a team are proven.
  • You work to deadlines.
  • You are able to prioritize tasks, be creative and discerning in your search for solutions.
  • You have good organizational and communication skills (ability to communicate your expertise).
  • You are capable of interacting at a high level of seniority involving autonomy.
  • You are a native French speaker or perfectly bilingual in French. Fluent English is a plus, and knowledge of Flemish would be a great advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Belgian market is also highly appreciated.
