Life Actuary - (M/F) - CDI

Your mission

As a member of the Actuarial and Product Offering team, you will be at the heart of missions designed to guarantee the company's profitability and solvency.

As the insurance company's risk architect, you will be entrusted with the following tasks:

Technical inventories / Strategic plan

- Be a major contributor to AXA Wealth Europe's quarterly financial statements and strategic plans, guaranteeing the calculation of technical reserves and underwriting results;

- Calculate capital requirements under the Solvency II directive (Best Estimate, SCR) ;

- Provide technical expertise on IFRS 17 and produce financial statements;

- Analyze existing models with a critical eye, and document procedures and policies relating to its activity;

- Share technical and financial analyses with top management to improve company management;

- Produce AXA regulatory and internal reports and meet deadlines;

- Manage the reinsurance account for euro-denominated assets,

 Profitability, Statistics & Technical Support

- Carry out actuarial studies to measure and monitor profitability metrics for the various product lines/markets,

- Make recommendations or proposals on profitability during calls for tender for the Governance Committee or when creating new products or new guarantees.

- Contribute your technical and actuarial expertise to the company's various projects.

You'll be working with a number of departments at AXA Wealth Europe and AXA Luxembourg, including Finance, Risk Management, Distribution and the operational teams.

Your profile 

- Hold a BAC+5 degree or equivalent in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or an engineering degree;

- Several years' experience in life insurance or initial successful experience in a similar position;

- Comfortable using Office software (Excel in particular);

- A good command of French and English is essential;

- Ability to synthesize, result-oriented;

- Be dynamic, rigorous, organized and a team player;

- Ability to organize and anticipate in order to meet reporting deadlines;

- Ability to manage several subjects in parallel.
