e-Lake is a free music festival held every summer on the shores of Lake Echternach in eastern Luxembourg. For three days, Luxembourgish and international bands, artists, and DJs take the stage in a natural setting, with a lineup ranging from rock to hip-hop, including pop, house, techno, and trance.
The 2026 edition will take place from Friday, August 7, to Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Echternach Lake Recreation Center. Concerts will begin on Friday at 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
e-Lake is aimed at music lovers, young adults, groups of friends, residents of the Greater Region, and visitors looking to enjoy an outdoor music festival. Its lakeside setting, free admission, and diverse lineup make it one of the major musical events of the Luxembourg summer.
The festival features a different lineup each day. Concerts and DJ sets are spread across the main stage, the Sunset Stage, and other pop-up venues.
Friday is traditionally dedicated to live concerts and bands. In 2026, the main stage will feature Moop Mama, Rogers, Lugatti & 9ine, Ultra World, Hunneg-Strëpp, Low Density Corporation, and Nea Lone, among others.
The Sunset Stage will round out the evening with a more alternative and electronic lineup, featuring De Läb, Deep Dive Culture, Emily Grogan, Marcy, Mellow, and DJ Skit.
Saturday is the festival’s big electronic music day. The lineup will run from the afternoon until 3 a.m., with artists and DJs performing on two stages.
The main stage will feature MaRLo, Mark Sixma b2b Ruben de Ronde, VE/RA, Waztoo, Anya, Jerry Libardi, and Ech.jo, among others. The Sunset Stage will feature sets by Tanzgeist, Jil Wagner, Netty Hugo, Björn del Togno, AL-x, Hørsmans, Deley, Faber, and other artists.
Sunday brings back a more accessible and varied atmosphere, with live concerts and DJ sets until 1 a.m.
The announced lineup includes Schëppe Siwen, The Disliked, Dream Catcher, Max Feller & d’Museksmécher, Dr. Gonzo, and DJ Dee.

The festival takes place at the Echternach Lake Recreation Center on Grégoire Schouppe Street. The venue is located outside the historic center, in a natural area that’s very busy on weekends.
The organizers recommend using public transportation, carpooling, park-and-ride facilities, and festival shuttles to help reduce traffic congestion.
Echternach is accessible by bus from several towns in Luxembourg. Depending on the route you choose, there are connections to the city from Luxembourg City, Junglinster, Wasserbillig, or Ettelbruck.
Public transportation is free in Luxembourg, but schedules may be adjusted during the festival. Check the mobility planner and the organizer’s information before you leave.

The festival takes place in a green space that is particularly cherished by Echternach residents and visitors alike. The organizers have therefore implemented measures to minimize waste and protect the lake’s surroundings.
Waste sorting stations and a recycling center are set up on the grounds. Visitors are encouraged to use the trash cans, sort their waste, and keep concert areas and parking lots clean.
Open fires are prohibited. Wild camping is not allowed in the forest, on natural grounds, or along the lake shore.
The history of e-Lake dates back to 1983. The event originated as an initiative of the Echternach Youth Club, which wanted to offer more musical activities to young people in the region.
The first editions took the form of outdoor summer parties by the lake. The format gradually became more professional, with a stage, technical equipment, and an increasingly ambitious lineup.
The name e-Lake has been in use since 2000. Despite the festival’s growth, its founding principle has remained unchanged: to offer a free music event, organized by young people and designed to bring together a broad audience.
Decide in advance which artists you want to see, but leave time to explore the other stages. Switching from a rock concert to a DJ set is part of the e-Lake experience.
