Summer sales in Luxembourg

Sales periods are set each year by the Luxembourg government.

This year, they will take place from June 24 to July 20, 2024 in Luxembourg stores. During this period, you'll find discounts ranging from 10% to 50% or even more on seasonal items.  

The opportunity to shop at bargain prices and finally buy that little dress we've been eyeing for a while 😉

Sales are not limited to clothing and shoe stores. Furnishings and equipment stores also apply reduced prices during this sales period.

Summer sales in the Greater Region

Stores in the Greater Region are also offering sales on their summer collections. For your information, here are the dates of sales in the other countries of the Greater Region.

As in Luxembourg, the dates of sales are defined by law in Belgium and France. This is not the case in Germany. German stores apply discounts all year round.

What are sales?

During sales, retailers can sell items that have been on sale for more than a month at knock-down prices. They are also allowed to sell items at a loss. This is not normally the case.

Thanks to sales, customers can benefit from price reductions on seasonal products. Price reductions vary between the beginning and the end of the sale period. It's not uncommon to find items up to 70% off. Be careful, however, if you're looking for standard sizes, as these may no longer be available.

The major online e-commerce sites also apply a sales period to all their collections.

Have you noticed that more and more stores, often small independent chains, are no longer offering sales? In a context of over-consumption, they intend to prevent consumption at all costs.
