Which products to buy in which Greater Region country?

If you live in Luxembourg, where can you shop in the Greater Region, depending on the products you want to buy?

First of all, buyers will have a wider choice of products in France. In fact, France offers 4 times more products than its neighbors Belgium and Luxembourg. In addition, fresh produce, food and groceries are 9.8% cheaper in France . France is also the best place to buy organic products. In this area, Luxembourg is at the bottom of the league.

Luxembourg is the best place to buy tobacco, cigarettes and beverages. The VAT rate in Luxembourg is lower than in neighboring countries. For a long time, fuel was also much cheaper in Luxembourg. This is no longer the case, however, due to the war in Ukraine and aid from neighboring governments.

You'll have to go to Germany to buy your drugstore and cleaning products, perfumes, non-food products and hygiene products, especially for babies.

With the exception of tobacco, prices in Belgium appear more expensive for the entire basket studied.
