Event description

Breast Cancer Solidarity Run on October 5, 2024

Every year, the Europa Donna Luxembourg association organizes a race against breast cancer, as part of the Pink October campaign. This year, it will take place on October 5, 2024. It is sponsored by several organizations, including CMCM.

The Broschtkriibslaf aims to support women with breast cancer in their fight against the disease. It takes place in the middle of Pink October, to remind women of the importance of regular mammograms.

This solidarity race has been running since 2003. The first edition attracted almost 600 participants. The 2020 and 2021 editions were held virtually, due to the coronavirus crisis. Since then, participants have been able to take part in the race virtually or in real time.

The atmosphere at this race in solidarity with women suffering from breast cancer is friendly and special. Even in the rain, the race has a special significance for all the women present. The sense of solidarity and mutual support is incomparable. Whatever your level of fitness, this race is well worth running or simply walking, even from home.
