Visit also the beautiful Metz railway station, elected for the 2nd time in 2018 as the most beautiful railway station in France. Inaugurated in 1908, it was designed with a military function under William II, then Kayser of the German Empire, of which the city of Metz was a part at the time, as well as the rest of the Moselle. It is now classified as a Historic Monument pending a possible inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List, a request having been submitted several years ago.
The “Centre Pompidou” in Metz is a centre for modern and contempory art and an annex of the famous Centre Pompidou in Paris. “Le Pass” gives you an annual membership allowing you to visit whenever you want throughout the year.

Art lovers can visit the Ecole de Nancy Museum located in the former home of an important Art Nouveau collector, Eugène Corbin. Art Nouveau (early 20th century) is very characteristic of the City of Nancy.
