Why Visit Home Expo Based on Your Housing Project?

Designing and decorating your home

Home Expo is Luxembourg’s must-attend home and living fair. There, you’ll meet all the professionals in home design and renovation. Whether you own your home or rent, bring a few photos, the dimensions of the spaces you want to transform, and a rough budget estimate. You’ll be able to find tailored solutions at special rates.

Renovating and Improving Energy Efficiency

Renovation is one of the fair’s key themes. Take advantage of discussions with professionals to clarify the planned work, technical solutions, and any constraints related to your home to improve its energy efficiency.

Before your visit, gather the information available on your energy performance certificate, also known as an energy passport. You can also find our guidelines for reducing your home’s energy consumption.

National Housing Week: Where to Get Advice?

Held concurrently with the Home Expo, National Housing Week brings together government agencies, public administrations, real estate professionals, and financial institutions. Four themed areas await visitors:

  • Information and Guidance: housing rights, procedures, and assistance, particularly through the One-Stop Shop for Housing Assistance.
  • Affordable Housing: discussions with public developers and approved housing agencies.
  • Construction and Renovation: Meet with builders, tradespeople, and energy experts.
  • Buying, Renting, and Financing: Connect with real estate agencies and financial institutions.

Home Expo Fair: Key Information for Expats

When settling in for the first time, start with your most practical questions: finding a place to live, understanding the necessary steps, and identifying any available financial assistance. Prepare details about your family situation, your budget, and your timeline to make discussions easier.

Our advice: Distinguish between administrative information and sales pitches, and ask for written documents so you can compare options after your visit.

Conferences, Workshops, and Family Tours

The 2026 program also features Housing Talks—short presentations focused on topics such as affordable housing, energy-efficient renovations, financing, and new ways of living. Exhibitions will also explore architecture and young people’s perspectives on housing.

Creative and architecture workshops for children are scheduled for the weekend. Check the age requirements, times, and registration details before you come: these activities are not intended to replace childcare.

Some tour routes require registration. Consult the official Home Expo program to choose your activities and check which languages are offered.
