Luxembourg Art Week is a key event in Luxembourg's cultural life. This "Week of Art" features a major exhibition of contemporary art.

Every year, internationally renowned art galleries are present in Luxembourg, showcasing the most beautiful and unexpected contemporary creations. Visitors, whether simply curious or seasoned art lovers, can discover new artists. And at the end of the visit, everyone can gain an overview of contemporary art, both local and international.

Luxembourg Art Week presents art from many angles:

• The main section features works by renowned and emerging artists.
• The Solo section introduces new projects and spotlights a particular artist.
• The Take-Off section offers works to discover, with a future in the art world.

The latest edition of Luxembourg Art Week

2024 will mark the 10th edition of Luxembourg Art Week. Let's bet that the organization will be able to celebrate this anniversary in style. It will take place from November 22 to 24, 2024.

During the 2023 edition, conferences on the art market and art in general took place in the main conference hall. Numerous experts in the field of contemporary art lent their support to this major event in Luxembourg.

In addition, a trail of miniature sculptures brought the city of Luxembourg to life at various key points around the capital. Visitors were able to see various works at Rond-Point Robert-Schuman, Neumunster Abbey and the forecourt of Luxembourg Cathedral.

What's more, under the impetus of its new director, Caroline von Reden, Luxembourg Art Week has launched partnerships with Luxembourg's cultural institutions, covering all the arts! A new lease of life for this eagerly-awaited art week.

What is Luxembourg Art Week?

The Agence Luxembourgeoise d'Action Culturelle, Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg and ArtContemporain.lu created this event in 2015.

The 2023 edition drew over 22,000 visitors to the contemporary art show. More than 80 art galleries were present, from 14 different countries and 5 continents. In all, over 400 artists were represented with 1,500 unique works.

Today, this art fair is a must for art lovers, collectors and professionals alike.

As part of Luxembourg Art Week, visitors can meet the artists present.

Art lovers can also take part in lectures and guided tours of museums in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Partnerships are organized with Mudam, Casino Luxembourg and the Centre Pompidou in Metz.

Luxembourg Art Week will take place in a 5,200 m2 ephemeral structure on the Champs du Glacis at Limpertsberg. The entrance is on the Allée Schaeffer side.
