LuxembourgThe show "Hippocampe" by the Compagnie des Bestioles offers an immersive sensory experience for children ages 3 to 5. Through the interplay of cubes, light, and music, this wordless show invites little ones to explore a poetic world guided by the imagination.
This sensory theater stimulates young children’s senses and early development by blending movement, electro-acoustic sounds, and shadow play. It’s a unique opportunity for expat families to introduce their children to local culture in an accessible and playful setting.
The performance for young audiences will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the KHN in Luxembourg. The show lasts 40 minutes and is family-friendly.
Created in 2021, "Hippocampe" uses 900 cubes manipulated by three actors to build an abstract and ever-changing world. The meticulous staging and immersive music create a visual and auditory experience suitable for young children.
Tickets are on sale at the full price of €12, €6 for school groups, and €1.50 with the Kulturpass. The show is wordless, making it ideal for children who speak other languages. For any questions regarding accessibility or school reservations, contact the KHN at +352 26 34 73 1 or ecoles@khn.lu.
