A fun and creative activity for Easter break
What if, during the Easter break, your child turned everyday materials into real musical instruments?
With Instrumentelabo, presented by Les Rotondes, children ages 6 to 8 discover the joy of creating, experimenting, and playing together. This music workshop combines crafting, sound exploration, and group expression in a stimulating and supportive environment.
A workshop to make your own musical instruments
Over four consecutive afternoons, children design their own instruments using a variety of materials provided. Maracas, rain sticks, tambourines… each creation becomes an opportunity to explore sounds and understand how they are produced. Here, there is no single way to do things: each child experiments freely and develops their creativity.
Discovering rhythm, movement, and playing together
Beyond just making instruments, Instrumentelabo offers a true introduction to music. Children learn to keep a beat, listen to others, play together, and associate sound with movement. Guided by Aurélie d’Incau and Julia Zurek, the group progresses step by step, alternating between creative sessions and musical activities.
A public performance to showcase the creations
The workshop concludes with a presentation at Mini PICelectroNIC am Park, an outdoor event. There, the children showcase their instruments and participate in a group performance. This showcase gives meaning to the project and builds self-confidence in a supportive environment.
