Thanks to their location and rich historical past, the Casemates offer a unique way to explore Luxembourg’s history from a different perspective. Built starting in 1644, the casemates sheltered the population during the air raids of World War I.

Cultivate your interests at MUDAM, Luxembourg’s Museum of Modern Art

If you’re an art lover, the Mudam Museum of Modern Art is undoubtedly the ideal cultural spot to visit in Luxembourg. Its architecture and location are almost as surprising as the incredible collection of works displayed across three floors.

Located on the Kirchberg plateau, in Dräi Eechelen Park, next to Fort Thungen and the Drei Eechelen Museum, MUDAM features contemporary architecture that blendsseamlessly with the lush green surroundings . Designed by the Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei in 2006, the Mudam is considered the capital’s must-see museum.
