Euromeet Luxembourg is the largest international swimming competition held in the Grand Duchy. This annual event brings together water sports enthusiasts and swimming professionals.

What is Euromeet Luxembourg?

The CMCM Euromeet Luxembourg takes place every year at the end of January at d'Coque, a world-renowned sports complex located in the Kircherg district of the Luxembourg capital.

The next edition of Euromeet will take place in late January/early February 2027. Stay tuned for the exact dates.

Every year, more than 630 athletes from 90 clubs representing 25 countries gather at the Coque Olympic swimming pool to take part in this event. They test their performance in a demanding competitive environment.

At the 2026 edition, two new records were set in the men's 200-meter backstroke by Ireland's John Shortt in 01:57.84 and in the women's 200-meter butterfly by Denmark's Helena Bach in 2:08.03. The venue hosting the event, the Coque Olympic swimming pool, is equipped with modern facilities offering optimal conditions for high-level performances.

This competition is not just a sporting event. It is also a crucial stage in the international calendar for many swimmers. • The Lux Open Master: this event will celebrate its 32nd edition in 2025. This European swimming event attracts more than 260 athletes of 18 different nationalities. During the 2024 edition, several records were set, including the Luxembourg record in the 50-meter freestyle by Steve Lahos in category C7 in 28"56.
• The Swim Trophy: A friendly competition that attracts many participants every year. The next edition will take place in February 2026.
• The Poseidon Challenge is designed for young swimmers from Poseidon schools. This event takes place three times a year at the Belair swimming pool.
• The Synchro Cup: a must-see event for artistic swimming enthusiasts.
