The CLAE reception, information, cultural and linguistic mediation platform in Luxembourg was created in 1985 and is approved by the Ministry of Family and Integration. CLAE Services asbl is recognized as public since August 24, 2016.
The CLAE works towards an open and supportive immigration policy in Luxembourg and its mission is to welcome and inform migrant people and families in Luxembourg about their rights, in order to promote their progress and their settlement within Luxembourg society:
- welcoming migrant families
- information on topics such as:
- help with some administrative procedures,
- linked to the appropriate structures,
- adapted listening according to personal and family situations,
- invitation to participate in associative projects, to intercultural events,
- French classes
Festival of Migrations, Cultures and Citizenship
CLAE organizes every year the Festival of Migration, Cultures and Citizenship. A must-attend event for the social, political and cultural life of Luxembourg, the festival introduces the general public to the diversity of these cultures through nearly 300 associative stands, debates and round tables, as well as culinary specialties, exhibitions, concerts , shows and animations for children. Admission is free, but donations allow CLAE to organize this event, coupled with the Book and Cultures Fair in Luxembourg, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Luxembourg.
Rencontres sans Frontières
The Rencontres sans Frontières are part of the annual meetings proposed by the City of Luxembourg in collaboration with CLAE. Each year in June, this sporting and cultural event offers a varied program: beach volley and football tournament, various activities for promoting integration. Ambiance guaranteed!
