I. Data use policy

This policy describes the information we process for the operation of Just Arrived.

A. What type of information do we collect?

The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Products.

1. Information and content you provide

We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Products, including when you create an account or browse our website.

2. Your use

We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the types of content you view or interact with, the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we record when you use and when you last used our Products, as well as the publications, videos or other content you view on our Products. We also collect information about how you use features.

3. Device information

As described below, we collect information about and from the computers, phones, connected TVs and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Products, and we combine this information across the different devices you use.

B. How do we use this information?

We use the information available to us (depending on the choices you make) in the ways described below, to provide and operate the Just Arrived Products and related services.

We use the information at our disposal to provide our Products, in particular to personalize their features and content and to make suggestions to you (such as events that may be of interest to you or thematic documents that you may wish to follow) on and off our Products. To create personalized Products that are both unique and relevant, we use your logins, data we collect, information you provide and other information; we also use data about how you use and interact with our Products.

We link information about your activities on different Just Arrived Products and devices to provide you with a more personalized and consistent experience across all Just Arrived Products you use, regardless of the medium on which you use them.

We use geographic information (such as your current location, where you live) to offer, personalize and improve our Products, including advertisements, for you and others. This geographic information may include the precise location of devices (if you have authorized us to collect it), IP addresses and information about your (and others') use of Just Arrived Products (such as visits or events you attend).

We use the information available to us to develop, test and improve our Products, including conducting surveys and research, and testing and troubleshooting new products and features.

We use the information we have about you (including information about your interests, actions and connections) to select and personalize the advertisements, offers and other sponsored content we show you.

We use the information available to us (including information about your activity that is not related to our Products, such as the websites you visit and the advertisements you see) to help advertisers and other partners measure the effectiveness and delivery of their advertisements and services, and to understand the types of people who use their services and how those people interact with their websites, applications and services.

We use the information at our disposal to verify accounts and activities, to combat unsafe behavior, to detect and prevent unwanted content and other negative experiences, to preserve the integrity of our Products, and to promote safety and security on and off Just Arrived Products.

We use the information at our disposal to send you commercial communications, to tell you about our Products and to inform you of our conditions and regulations. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

C. How is this information shared?

We collaborate with third-party partners who help us provide and improve our Products. We impose strict restrictions on how partners may use and disclose the data we share with them. Please note that your identity is never revealed, i.e. first name, last name and e-mail address. The only information transmitted is information that cannot in any way be used by a third-party partner to identify you.

Here are the types of third parties with whom we share information:

1. Partners using the analysis service

We provide aggregated statistics and insights that allow individuals and companies to understand how people interact with their ads on and off Just Arrived Products.

2. Advertisers

We provide advertisers with reports on the types of people who see their ads and how their ads perform, but we do not share personally identifiable information (information such as your name or e-mail address that can be used to contact or identify you).

3. Measurement partners

We share information about you with companies that aggregate it to provide analysis and measurement reports to our partners.

4. Partners offering goods and services on our Products

When you subscribe to receive paid content, or when you make a purchase from a seller on our Products, the content creator or seller may receive your public information and other information you provide to them, as well as information necessary to complete the transaction, including your shipping information and contact information.

D. On what legal basis do we process data?

We collect, use and share the data in our possession in the ways described below:

  • to the extent necessary to fulfill our legal obligations;
  • to protect your vital interests or those of others ;
  • to the extent necessary in the public interest;
  • to the extent necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of others), in particular our interests in providing an innovative, personalized, secure and profitable service to our users and partners, unless these interests are overridden by your interests or your fundamental rights and freedoms requiring the protection of your personal data.

E. How can you exercise your data protection rights?

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to consult, rectify, transfer and delete your data. This includes:

the right to object to our processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, which you can exercise using the "unsubscribe" link

the right to object to us processing your data when we are carrying out a task in the public interest or when we are asserting our legitimate interests or those of a third party. You can exercise this right at Just Arrived.

F. Data retention, account deactivation and deletion

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services and Just Arrived Products, or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case decision that depends on aspects such as the nature of the data, the reason for its collection and processing, and the legal or operational retention requirements involved.

When you delete your account, we delete the content you have published, such as your tickets, and you will not be able to retrieve this information afterwards.

G. How do we respond to legal requests?

We access, store and share your information with regulators, authorities or other :

  • To respond to a legal request, if we believe in good faith that the law requires it. We may also respond to legal requests when we believe in good faith that the response is required by the law of that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and complies with internationally recognized standards.
  • When we have reason to believe in good faith that it is necessary to detect, prevent and control fraud, unauthorized use of the Products, violations of our terms or regulations, or other dangerous or illegal activities; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Products), you or others, including in connection with investigations or regulatory demands; or to prevent death or imminent bodily injury.

The information we receive about you (including financial transaction data related to purchases made with Just Arrived) may be accessed and retained for an extended period of time in response to legal requests or requirements, government inquiries, investigations of possible violations of our terms of use or regulations, or to prevent further harm. We also retain for a minimum of one year information about accounts deactivated as a result of a violation of the terms of use, in order to prevent repeated abuse or other violations of the terms of use.
