Since 1921, five generations have succeeded one another in Luxembourg to create and offer consumers in over 20 countries around the world cuvées of sparkling (crémant) and still wines of impeccable quality.

As the first family-run producer, Bernard-Massard remains faithful to the entrepreneurial spirit of its founders, and strives to offer tasters a real moment of pleasure.

Bernard-Massard, 100 years of history in Moselle wine production

In 1921, Jean Bernard, a cellar master in Champagne, founded the Bernard-Massard company, associating his wife's name with it. On the banks of the Moselle, he produced sparkling wines using the méthode champenoise.

The Bernard-Massard company grew to employ 45 people on the eve of the Second World War, producing 150,000 bottles of crémant. After the war, new investments revitalized the company. For the company's 50th anniversary, Bernard-Massard launches its famous Cuvée de l'Ecusson. This became the best-selling cuvée. It also won recognition from the wine world.

Today, Bernard-Massard exports its sparkling and still wines to many countries around the world. The company offers a range of cuvées to suit all occasions and food and wine pairings.

Since 2020, Bernard-Massard has been producing organic wines.
