Under the supervision of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Institute is in charge of promoting the French language and culture in the world and in Luxembourg. For this autumn 2018, the French Institute of Luxembourg has a new look. The premises have been refurbished and the facade redone to improve the capacity and quality of reception. In fact, the French Institute offers you several novelties!

An enriched course offer

The IFL offers for this 2018 school year a more diversified offer of courses, with the aim of welcoming children, teenagers and young au pairs, while maintaining its program of adult courses.

One Thursday a month, in a warm and comfortable space, the IFL invites children aged 7 to 11 to discover the world of storytelling and to travel, dream and laugh in the French language. The first session is scheduled for Thursday, October 4th at 3:00 pm, with the professional storyteller Sylvie Beythan-Ory, who will lead these workshops throughout the school year.

Learning French through play for children and adolescents

Fun and creative activities (board games, memory cards, songs, readings, etc.) are also available from Tuesday, October 2nd. On a weekly basis (excluding school holidays), these workshops will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm for children from 6 to 12 years old. The same workshop will be of for 13-18 years old will be held every Thursday, from October 4th.
