Red Cross Bazaar in Luxembourg

On November 18th, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, the 72st Red Cross Bazaar took place in Luxembourg-city, at the Halle Victor Hugo, 62 Rue Victor Hugo in Limpertsberg district. 
The opportunity for Luxembourgish residents to help poor people and make a good deed while enjoying a traditional and major event in Luxembourg.

Flea market and food at the Red Cross Bazaar

At the Red Cross Bazaar, a Food Hall offered for the first time this year a varied catering with international and national culinary specialities. At the flea market, visitors could find second-hand items such as clothing, more expensive products such as silverware or porcelain tableware, homemade and handicrafts,…. In short, gift ideas for Christmas for all budgets!
Activity stands were proposed to children, who were able to meet Saint Nicholas!
An interactive dance performance were also planned.

Traditionally under the patronage of Grand Duchess Marie-Thérésa, the Red Cross Bazaar was visited this year by Prince Felix and his wife Princess Claire. We also saw Xavier Bettel, actually working on a new Luxembourg government and Stéphane Bern, a famous French television host, of Luxembourg origin by his grandmother.

Good time, good deed

Under the theme “Mënschen hëllefen en Doheem ginn“, the profits will be used this year to provide accommodation for homeless people in Luxembourg and abroad.

More than 300 volunteers took part in this charity event! Go for it with your family to enjoy a friendly moment with solidarity
