The objective of the Luxemburg Olympic and Sports Committee (COSL) is the development of sport, physical and sports education in Luxembourg. In particular, he is in charge of promoting and organizing Luxembourg’s participation in the Olympic Games and other sports events.
The Olympic Committee has been working since 1912 in various forms in the field of sport in Luxembourg and has been recognized since 1978 by the Government as the central body of sport in Luxembourg.
The COSL now represents more than 125,000 sports licensees in Luxembourg through 1,550 sports associations and 61 sports federations and groups.
The COSL brings together all existing sporting, Olympic and non-Olympic federations in the Grand Duchy. You will be able to obtain from each federation all the necessary information on the sport concerned as it is practiced in Luxembourg, as well as clubs close to your home or office where to practice your favorite sport or as an activity for your children.
You will also find on the COSL website all the news concerning the next Olympic games or European games, as well as all the information on the athletes representing the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
