From 9 to 15 November 2018, the fourth edition of the Luxembourg Art Week will take place at the Halle Victor Hugo.
What is Luxembourg Art Week?
Luxembourg Art Week is a week totally dedicated to contemporary art production in Luxembourg. On the initiative of three Luxembourgish arts non-profit associations – the Agence Luxembourgeoise d’Action Culturelle, the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg and ArtContemporain.lu – the first edition was launched in 2015. The project is also supported by the City of Luxembourg, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Economy.
This Art Week is concretly a large-scale contemporary art exhibition. It offers to a large public an overview of the contemporary creation from Luxembourg and neighbouring countries. With 7,000 visitors in 2015, 12,000 in 2016, this contemporary art fair is now a must-see event for all art lovers, collectors and art professionals. Today, many galleries want to participate that a selection committee was set up to select successful candidates.
