The Brazilian Film Festival: 3 good reasons to go

The sixth edition of the Brazilian Film Festival is coming up to show a variety of film styles and genres as diverse and intriguing as this huge and amazing country.

For the last five years, a group of passionate Brazilian expats, guided by Pieca Levy,  has introduced the Luxemburgish audience to new aspects of Brazil, consciously distancing themselves from the well-known current divisions. This year, the Festival du Film Brésilien has assembled a selection of films that promise to take audiences even deeper into the true spirit of the Brazilian culture.

Film production and artistic creation have a very important place within the Brazilian culture. The films and documentaries of this year‘s festival are intended to offer a a deeper understanding of this culture, all of them taking different perspectives on the country’s history, as well as its past and current issues.

Luciele Milani, secretary of the Festival and brazilian ambassador for the JUST ARRIVED ambassadors club,  is telling us three good reasons to take part in this years’ edition of the FFB:

  • To discover a Brazil very different from what you’d expect (most probably) ;
  • Feel the warmth of the summer while being in mid-november ;
  • Watch movies that you would not have the oportunity to see otherwise.
