At La Pipistrelle, Françoise the owner welcomes her guests like friends. She makes sure you are well taken care of with copious breakfasts of eggs, bacon, cheese and cured meats from the area to enjoy in your room or in the dining room. She will also run an iron over creased clothes and take care of theatre or restaurant reservations. Françoise is Belgian, speaks French, Russian, English and Luxembourgish, and loves to have guests and help people discover her adopted country.
Nested into the rock of the ramparts of Luxembourg, La Pipistrelle is a charming 18th century house. Françoise herself decided how to arrange and decorate the four rooms, three of which are suites with two rooms, which can take up to four persons. She has made the most of original features like the original staircase, chequered tiling and stonewalls in some rooms and combined them with a modern decor. Light and warm, all rooms have every modern comfort.
La Pipistrelle has a terrace, which means if you are passing by you can stop for breakfast at this charming B&B hotel.
