I was born and raised in Milan. I lived and worked in many countries. I am a journalist, publicist.
I have been living in Luxembourg since 2001, here together with my friend and colleague Paola Cairo, I founded the Italian Magazine PassaParola. We also broadcast a programme called Voices by PassaParola on Radio Ara.
I am also a TV author and published books - nursery rhymes, a prize winning novel book dedicated to women, various monographies and tourism guides.
My son, who is 20, is presently in Canada studying Cinematography.
I have three main passions: dancing, cooking and the seaside. I dream about living in a house on the beach, possibly in Italy, a simple and hidden place where I can breath and smell the seaside.
I become aware of a gap in the Italian community of Luxembourg, and I wanted to give her a voice, an identity and be their cultural mirror.
I consider the magazine my other child. Bringin it to life allowed my career of journalist to move a step forward, to become a publisher and editor-in-chief.
I really appreciate being able to freely create, decide and choose, while respecting the audience and the ethical rules involved.
This great work, celebrated on the 10th anniversary of the magazine issue, uplifted my professional satisfactions.
It is variegated, a genuine sample of the population who lives in our homeland. This is peculiar to every Italian community in the world. What really differs is the way Italians blend each other with the host country, because determined by its culture, habits and rules.
The ability of distinguish ourselves as Italians and to integrate with citizens of the host country.
Interesting, lively, constructive.
The general level of wealth of the citizens, clean public places, general order and pragmatism, the fast efficiency when doing bureaucracy paperworks, too cold weather at my personal perception.
All the people I have met so far, who become dear friends.
A square near Rue de la Paix, is a relazing place with small ponds and a gazebo.
I feel nostalgic because it represents a nice and important period of my life.
The streets around my former house in Bonnevoie.
My son used to attend scout meetings and had the opportunity of practicing many sports. It’s a great country for families with young children.
Trattoria del Circolo Curiel in Hollerich or Ristorante La Veranda in Howald.
Absolutely not ! I always brought with me traditions and recipes of my family. I cook exclusively italian dishes, using ancient methods.
I often opt for Italian or Greek cuisine.
