Luxembourg celebrates Europe this May 21

This coming May 21, the Europe Day commemoratingthe Robert Schuman Declaration of May 9, 1950 will result in the presence of an European village in Luxembourg. For the occasion, several activities will be proposed, here is the program!

The event will take place from 11.00 am to 06.00 pm. A cultural program will be implemented throughout the day on Place d'Armes, rue du Curé and the Europe House.

The opening ceremony of the European village will take place at 11.00 am, and the European institutions and the Member States will introduce themselves there. From 11.00 am to 05.00 pm, the Europe House will offer a photo workshop so you can walk away with a captured memory of your day. At 11.15 am, the film "The man who fixes women" from Dr. Denis Mukwege, winner of the Sakharov Price 2014 at the Europe House, will be screened.

At 2.30 pm, the day will continue with the sharing and tasting of the great birthday cake tabled for the event. This greedy moment will be followed by a Polit Talk at 3.00 pm, to allow you to interact directly with your MEPs under the tent provided for this purpose. The feast will end at 06.00 pm.
