Today, it is Natalia Boffi, our Argentinian ambassador from the Just Arrived Ambassadors Club, who suggests good plans to discover Argentina in Luxembourg.
In Luxembourg, the place where I feel like home, in Argentina, is the "Cafetín de Buenos Aires" at 18 rue des Capucins, in the downtown area, near the Théâtre des Capucins. It is an argentine “touch” kitchen, and each course of the menu, one needs to know it, is carefully chosen by the charming owner whom you will often gladly meet there, and who will welcome you every time very warmly.
Many places serve meat from Argentina in Luxembourg-City :
- Mansoai - in Kirchberg
- Daiwelskichen - in the Centre
- ChimiChurri - in Kirchberg
- Batucada - in the Centre (a less warm welcome).
If you want to travel in Argentina while staying in Luxembourg, I urge you to go to Bissen. There, you will find : "El Gaucho", an Argentinian restaurant that deserves, in my opinion, the displacement,. This is only my point of view but... I challenge you to go eat there and tell me what you think about it !
If you want to let yourself be carried in the suburbs of Buenos Aires and learn to dance the tango : Tuesdays at the Brasserie de L’Arret (365, Longwy Merl Luxembourg road), courses for beginners from 7.00 to 8.20 pm, you have a Milonga at 8:30 pm, with el Chino and Miho. Thursdays at 18, Fort Wallis Street, Luxembourg from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, beginner classes, and from 8.15 to 9.30 pm, intermediate/advanced courses with Leo and Eugenia : email@example.com.
