Who is behind this popular newly renovated restaurant? Christopher Rahme, a young, dynamic and welcoming man, surrounded by a myriad of waiters and waitresses of many nationalities. In fact, as well as Luxembourgish, 8 other languages are spoken.
The Café des Capucins has a refined Nordic decor with its emerald blue walls, a somewhat psychedelic décor, mixed with warm wooden flooring. It is a nice place to have a coffee, enjoy a meal or sip a cocktail before or after going to the theatre.
Made in house, from the freshest of ingredients, the menu offers the classic dishes - club sandwich, warm goats cheese salad, quiches and tartars – as well as gastronomic delights such as a pot au feu (stew), which has been simmering away for a few hours.
For the night owls, Georges the barman mixes up some great cocktails, a Lillet, Hugo or Pimms. And if you like gin, they have an impressive selection.
Open Monday to Saturday 9am until after midnight and Sunday 11am until 8pm. The Café can be booked for private parties.
