Joanna Gizewska, our Polish ambassador in Luxembourg, describes herself as an open-minded learner and New Technology enthusiast.
I’ve been living in Luxembourg since 2010.
I came to Luxembourg for personal reasons.
I studied cultural history, Russian and literature. Currently I am in a professional development transition into the exciting field of Cybersecurity.
Active, significant and creative.
I would definitely miss its cultural diversity and all the great people I’ve met here.
City centre with its historical buildings and breathtaking views.
It was hard for me to find such a word in my mind spontaneously. Perhaps it’s because there are so many other languages around me that everything seems to have an easy intuitive explanation.
There is this word I like very much but it’s quite “old school”. Nobody uses it any more. “Pięknoduch” consists of two words “piękno” (beauty) and “duch” (spirit) and describes a person who is a little bit detached from reality and measures everything with high aesthetic standards.
I wanted to write blog articles about my experiences here in Luxembourg. I remember talking about my idea with a friend of mine and she told me about the JUST ARRIVED initiative and I thought: “Yes. That’s it! I want to join them!” And I did!
If you were a power, what would you be?
If you were a book, which genre would you be ?
If you were a season what would you be ?
If you were a spice what would you be ?
If you were a pair of shoes what would you be ?
High-heeled pumps strapped.
